Angela is a digital enthusiast who has spent over ten years focused on all things digital as a techie, a manager, and a marketer. Her areas of expertise include overall digital strategy, lead generation, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, and e-mail marketing. Angela has worked in many different verticals online, including financial services, home services, shipping, travel, and retail.
As a coach and consultant at Copeland Coaching, LLC, Angela provides digital marketing and personal branding advice, strategies, and implementation for her clients. Previously, she served as Vice President of Digital and eCommerce at First Tennessee Bank where she was responsible for mobile banking, online customer acquisition, and retail online banking. She partnered with other teams to drive the execution of the digital roadmap to support objectives of the bank and create the best online customer experience possible.
From 2007 to 2011, Angela was the Director of Digital Strategy and Marketing at ServiceMaster. She built the digital marketing strategy for the company’s franchise brands: Merry Maids, ServiceMaster Clean, Furniture Medic, and AmeriSpec. Angela’s efforts focused on increasing customer acquisition through many online sources, including search engine marketing, search engine optimization, e-mail marketing, and social media. Angela grew the Merry Maids online acquisition channel from infancy to over 60% of US sales.
Angela earned a MBA in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. She has a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
Angela was selected by the Memphis Business Journal for Top 40 Under 40 in 2011. In 2013, Angela organized the Memphis To Moore fundraiser that raised over $34,000 for those impacted by the tornadoes in her hometown of Moore.
In 2014, Angela became a guest columnist for the Memphis Daily News where she writes on the topic of career development. She is also the official career coach for the Volunteer Odyssey program in Memphis, Tennessee.
